Pt. Suresh Talwalkar to Inaugurate Taalanubhuti Foundation

Pune, July 4th, 2016: Padmashree Taalyogi Pandit Suresh Talwalkar will be inaugurating Taalanubhuti Foundation, a nonprofit organization in Pune on Sunday, July 10th at Sawai Gandharva Smarak, Shivaji Nagar at 6.00pm. Initiated by Sureshji’s renowned disciple Rohit Mujumdar this foundation intent to motivate young musicians by providing them an encouraging platform. The inauguration function will be followed by solo Tabla Performances of Rohit Mujumdar and Pt. Suresh Talwalkar; accompanied by Nagesh Adgaonkar (Vocal), Tanmay Deochake (Harmonium), Savani Talwalkar– Gadgil (Tabla), Umesh Warbhuvan (Cajon), Ajinkya Galande (Calabash). This programme will be open and free to all. Few seats will be reserved for invitees only.
 
Rohit, started playing Tabla at the tender age of 3. He believes that acquiring any art at an early age is pivotal in the initial composition of your foundation and with this very intent he decided to initiate Taalanubhuti Foundation. The main objective behind this organization is to introduce the art of Tabla playing and Indian Classical Music to younger pupils and motivate them to perceive this art and encourage them to perform.
 
With this aim, the foundation will be providing a platform to younger artists by organizing concerts. The foundation will also organize various seminars and workshops. Younger artists will also be made acquaint with senior established artists. With many such initiatives, activities Taalanubhuti Foundation’s endeavour is to make the process of learning music a lot more involving and aspires to seek the insight of Indian Classical Music.
