Pune: 17-Year-Old Boy Dies After His Bike Hit A Pole
Wanowrie, 5th April 2022: A two-wheeler collided head-on with an electricity pole in the Wanowrie area of Pune, killing the minor. A pillion rider was injured in the accident.
The deceased was identified as Mohammad Ali Zakir Ali Syed, a resident of Bhavani Peth. Arfan Ayub Sheikh (23), a resident of Lohianagar, who was pillion riding, was seriously injured in the accident. He is undergoing treatment at a hospital.
According to police, Syed lost control of his speeding bike in front of the National Academy Of Defence Financial Management Institute. The two-wheeler collided with an electric pole. Syed and Sheikh were seriously injured in the accident.
Police rushed the two to the hospital after the accident. Syed had died before treatment could begin. Sub-Inspector Sonalika Sathe is investigating the case.
