Pune: 1,789 PMPML Buses Operated On Road In Single Day Receiving Income Of Rs 1.70 Crore From 12.68 Lakh Passengers

Pune, 21st January 2023: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) buses are plying on the roads in large numbers as the rate of cancellations is decreasing. A maximum number of PMPML buses ran on Thursday.

Also, on Thursday, 1,789 buses of PMPML were in the service of passengers on the road which provided convenience to the passengers and also added to the income of the PMPML. On Thursday, the daily income was Rs 1.70 crore while 12.68 lakh passengers traveled in a day.

Efforts are being made by PMPML to bring a maximum number of buses on the route to provide better service to the passengers. Owned buses that are out of order are being repaired and put on the road. Hence, 1,650 buses are coming on the route for the last few days. Therefore, the number of passengers has also reached close to 12.50 lakhs.

Most buses operated by PMPML on Thursday, except for festivals. On Thursday, 1,789 buses were plying. 12.68 lakh passengers have traveled through it. PMPML has received an income of Rs 1,70,44,000 from that.

Satish Gavane Transport Manager of PMPML said that PMPML is working to bring a maximum number of buses on the route.
