Pune 17th August 2023: Four Arrested For Brutal Murder Of Youth Outside Mangala Theatre, Seven Others Booked
Pune 17th August 2023 : The Pune City Police have managed to arrest four accused for brutally killing a youth outside Mangala Theatre in the city while search for seven other accused is still on. The deceased who had a total of 24 cases registered on his name was killed following an old rivalry by the accused, said police officials.
It may be noted that a 35-year-old youth Nitin Mhaske was killed outside the theatre at around 1:10 am on Wednesday as he came out after watching a lete night show of a movie. He was attacked with swords, iron rods and sticks and had sustained serious injuries in the incident. He was rushed to the hospital and was declared dead by the doctors.
Mhaske was earlier arrested in an attempt to murder case for attacking one of the accused booked for his murder. He was lodged in jail and was released on bail in May this year. The rival gang was chasing him since then and was waiting to settle a score with him. On Wednesday, Mhaske was accompanied by three of his friends whom the accused asked to step aside as they came out of theatre and attacked him.
