Pune: 27-Year-Old Son Kills His Drunk Father; Arrested By Hadapsar Police
Hadapsar, 12th May 2023: A shocking incident has taken place as a 27-year-old son beat his drunken father with a stick and strangled him to death. The incident took place at Ghule Patil Colony in the Manjari Budruk area of Pune on Tuesday (9th May) around 12.00 pm. Hadapsar police have arrested the son in this case.
The deceased father’s name is Ravi Kshirsagar (52). Omkar Ravi Kshirsagar (27), a resident of Manjari has been arrested by the police. In this case, Rekha Ravi Kshirsagar (43), wife of the deceased Ravi, has filed a complaint against her son at Hadapsar police station for killing her husband.
According to the information given by the police, the deceased father was drunk and was abusing his son. Reportedly, Ravi also threw a shoe at Omkar. The same led to an argument between the son and the father.
During the argument, Omkar beat his father with a stick. After that, he strangled his father. After the incident, Ravi was taken to the hospital. However, doctors declared him dead. At present, the Hadapsar police are conducting further investigations.
