Pune: 8 Bangladeshi Citizens Found Living In Narayangaon, FIR Registered

Narayangaon, 14th December 2023: In a joint operation, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) Pune Unit and Narayangaon Police have taken action against eight Bangladeshi citizens residing in Narayangaon, Pune district. The operation was carried out based on confidential information received by the ATS Pune Unit.

The individuals identified as Mehbul Nazrun Sheikh, Rana Jamaat Ali Mandal, Gafur Rajewali Sheikh, Alamgir Jamaat Ali Mandal, Shalom Mustafizur Mandal, Afzal Hamibul Khan, Kabir Muzzam Mulla, and Jamaat Ali Whyta Ali Mandal (currently absconding) are reported to have entered the country without valid travel documents and without the required written permission from civil authorities on the Indo-Bangladesh border.

An FIR has been registered against them at the Narayangaon police station, Pune rural police, under relevant sections of the Foreigners Act, Passport Act, and Passport (Entry into India) Foreign Nationals Order, 1950.
