Pune: Tourists Flock To Lonavala To Enjoy Monsoon After Two Years

Lonavala, 10th July 2022: Lonavala in the Pune district of Maharashtra is crowded with tourists due to the weekend and heavy rains.

Tourists flocked to Lonavala to enjoy the rainy season at Bhushi Dam, Lions Point, Tiger Point. Heavy rains lashed the Lonavala area in the first week of July. On top of that, the news about the overflowing of Bhushi Dam attracted even more tourists to Lonavala. It was a great sight for tourists to enjoy it with their families at Tiger Point and Lions Point as fog took over the places.

Waterfalls have started flowing from the mountain valley of Sahyadri creating beautiful sights. The Bhushi dam overflowed after heavy rains in the first week of July.

Today being a Sunday, there was a big crowd of tourists. Tourists were enjoying bhuttakanda bhajicheese bhaji, sweet corn along with other popular local snacks.

Waterfalls have started flowing from the mountain valley of Sahyadri. Many tourists enjoyed the rainy season soaking under the small waterfalls as well.

As people were not allowed to visit places due to Covid-19, tourists said that this year’s monsoon is special for them. Many young tourists come to Lonavala, Bhushi Dam, Tiger Point, and Lion’s Point to party, enjoy sightseeing and have a good time with their loved ones.
