Pune: Another FIR Registered Against Nupur Sharma and Naveen Jindal For Hurting Religious Sentiments

Daund, 11th June 2022: Following the protests over ex-BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma’s remarks, a case has been registered against her at Daund police station under Pune rural police.

The case has been registered against Nupur Sharma in connection with a controversial statement she made on a television channel about Islam and Prophet Muhammad.

Daund police informed that the office bearers of Muslim community in Daund city, office bearers of NCP, Shiv Sena, and Republican Party held a meeting with Deputy Superintendent of Police Rahul Dhas and Inspector Vinod Ghuge on Friday and a written demand was also submitted to register a case against Nupur Sharma and Naveen Kumar Jindal.

Hence, a case has been registered against Nupur Sharma at Daund police station following a complaint lodged by former mayor Badshah Adam Sheikh.
