Pune: Argument Leads to Supervisor’s Fatal Stabbing at Kondhwa NIBM Annexe

Kondhwa, 18th April 2024: On Wednesday (18th April), a supervisor was found stabbed to death at a construction site in the Kondhwa NIBM Annexe area. The victim, identified as Pankaj Kumar Moti Kashyap, age 35 and a resident of Mohammed Wadi, was working as a supervisor at the site.

Senior Police Inspector Santosh Sonawane stated that Pankaj Kumar, originally from Uttar Pradesh, had been drinking with friends on the fifth floor on Tuesday night when an argument broke out. During the altercation, the accused allegedly stabbed Pankaj Kumar and then threw him from the fifth floor into the building’s duct.

Pankaj Kumar’s body became lodged in the duct on the third floor, where he succumbed to his injuries. His body was discovered by workers the next afternoon, prompting them to notify the police. The police retrieved the body and sent it to Sassoon Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The Kondhwa police are actively searching for the suspects involved.
