Pune: Artist Madhuri Bhaduri Booked For Abetting Suicide Of Her Daughter-In-Law
Aundh, 27th September 2021: Artist Madhuri Bhaduri, who is a national level badminton and squash player, has been booked by Pune city police for allegedly abetting the suicide of her daughter-in-law.
Based on the complaint from Nina Rajniram Kulur (59), a resident of Aundh, Chatushrungi police station had earlier registered an FIR against Saurabh Shekhar Bhaduri (30). Now cops have also named Madhuri Bhaduri for the suicide of Malvika Saurabh Bhaduri (32).
According to police, Malvika and Saurabh had a love marriage in March 2021. Saurabh is into the food business while Malvika was a housewife. Saurabh reportedly suspected her character and the couple used to have arguments often.
On the evening of September 9, they had again an argument and Malvika went inside her room and locked it from inside. On the next day when she did not open the door and was not responding to phone calls, police were called. They broke open the door and found her dead around 5 pm. Police said that she had died by suicide.
Nobody has been arrested in the case till now.
