Pune: Aundh-Baner Ward Office Issues New COVID Directives Amid Surge In Cases

Aundh, February 22, 2021: The Health Department of Aundh-Baner ward today appealed to residents to immediately inform them if they develop any symptoms of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)

This move has come after a surge in the number of COVID-19 patients in the Aundh, Baner and Balewadi areas. The information given to the health department will be used for contact tracing purposes and to curb the further spread of the deadly virus.

“Even if the patient is undergoing treatment or is quarantined, the patient or their relatives and the doctor must give out complete information to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) ward office”, said a statement published by Aundh-Baner Ward office.

Aundh-Baner Ward Office issues directives: COVID-19 positive patients’ information should be given to the ward office by the patient themselves, relatives, chairman or secretary of the housing society immediately.

Information about COVID positive patients who have been tested in a private lab or hospital should be given out to the ward office immediately.
