Pune: BARTI Launches Pioneering Campaign For Swift Caste Verification Certificates
Pune, 26th July 2023: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Research and Training Institute (BARTI) has taken on a pioneering campaign to provide efficient caste verification certificates to backward-class citizens in the Maharashtra state. This initiative aims to simplify the process of obtaining essential certificates for education, employment, and elections, bringing relief to those who faced difficulties in the past.
Caste verification certificates hold significant importance for citizens belonging to backward classes, serving as crucial documents for various official purposes. However, the complex and time-consuming process of obtaining these certificates has been a challenge for many applicants.
The new campaign, under the guidance of Sunil Vare, the Social Welfare Commissioner, involves organizing camps in weekly markets, including Athavda Bazaar (weekly market), to expedite the issuance of caste verification certificates. The strategic location in bustling marketplaces ensures convenient access for a broader population, easing bureaucratic burdens.
