Pune: BJP Leader Booked For Obstructing Road Concretization Work In Baner
Pune 1st July2023: Former corporator of the Pune Municipal Corporation and BJP leader Madhukar Musale has been booked by Pimpri Chinchwad police for stopping the ongoing work of road concretization in Baner. The junior engineer of Pune Municipal Corporation has lodged a complaint in the matter with police.
According to police, the incident took place on Friday afternoon when the PMC officials were conducting digging work for the concretization of the road. The officials were digging the road near Pashan-Sus flyover in Baner when Madhukar Musale came and asked the officials to stop the work claiming that the land belongs to him and he owns the documents for the same. He did not let them continue the work following which the PMC officials approached police to lodge the complaint in the matter.
A case in this regard has been registered against Madhukar Musale at Hinjewadi police station under section 353 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police are investigating further in the matter.
