Pune: Bookoholics And Discourses Launch 6 Books At Grand Event
Pune, 22nd February 2022: Bookoholics Book Club in collaboration with Discourses: A Centre for English Language, Literature and Cultural Studies launched six books at Sahyadri Railway Club, Pune on the 19th of February.
Celebrities from the tinsel town, veteran actor Abhijit Lahiri, model Guru, Sonia Mayers, translator and author Tikam Shekhawat were invited as the guests of honour for the grand event.
The star-studded evening witnessed the book release of decorated scholars and authors like Limca Book winner, Neelam Saxena Chandra, poet author and managing director of Discourses, Dr Purnima Kulkarni, Assistant Professor of English at NDA, Dr Pragya Bajpai, poet and empath from Mumbai, Anoop Pandey, veteran Army officer Sunil Joshi and a popular Artist and poet from Goa, Dr Aparna Pradhan.
Neelam Saxena Chandra released her book Mehek Rahe Alfaaz Mere, a book of four liners at the mega event.
Dr Purnima Kulkarni and Former Principal of Tata School, Rani Trivedi released their Magnum Opus, Aum Gan Ganapataye Namah: An Anthology of Poems penned in praise of Lord Ganesha. The book with a stunning cover page by Dr Aparna Pradhan comprises prose write-ups, poems and Artwork.
Dr Kulkarni’s students: Anandita Kapre, Needhi Jinde, Inder Mohan Singh Nandra, Dhruv Kothari and Artist Mayuresh Shirolkar who contributed to the Anthology, Aum Gan Ganapataye Namah were felicitated by the chief guests.
Anoop Pandey released his book Hriday Sparsh: An Anthology of Poems penned by Shri Anoop Pandey, curated by Dr Purnima Kulkarni with illustrations by Capt. Ashish Pannase.
Dr Pragya Bajpai released her first English poetry book, A Potpourri of Proverbs with illustrations by the very enthusiastic Sarahana Bajpai.
Sunil Joshi released his first Anthology, “Sangini” dedicated to his life partner.
Dr Aparna Pradhan released her first Anthology of Hindi poems Ek Anjuri Khushboo at the book launch fest.
Jigna Pasad Malwankar, the Founder of Bookoholics felicitated the Guests of honour and authors with mementos while Dr Purnima Kulkarni glittered as the Master of the ceremony. Her electrifying Anchoring was deeply appreciated by the audience.
The media partner, Meenu Bhosale and Amar Singh Rajput recorded the entire event and congratulated the authors for their praiseworthy endeavour.
