Pune, 18th September 2025: Pune experienced heavy rainfall across several areas on Thursday, with readings from both the India Meteorological Department (IMD) and Zomato AWS stations showing significant precipitation.
According to IMD data recorded till 8:30 pm:
Shivajinagar: 57.2 mm
Lohgaon: 74.8 mm
Chinchwad: 37.5 mm
Pashan: 71.8 mm (till 5:30 pm)
Zomato AWS readings recorded till 9:30 pm reported:
Aundh: 89.2 mm
Pimple Saudagar: 84.8 mm
Baner: 52.6 mm
Bopkhel: 103 mm
Sus: 73.6 mm
Yerwada: 30.4 mm
The showers caused waterlogging in some areas and minor traffic disruptions, though city authorities promptly managed the situation.
