Pune: Builder Vishal Agarwal Goes into Hiding After Case Filed Over Deadly Kalyani Nagar Accident

Pune, 20th May 2024: Vishal Agarwal, owner of Bramha Realty and Infrastructure, has reportedly gone into hiding following the registration of a case against him. Agarwal has been charged for allowing his minor son to drive a Porsche car without a registration number, which resulted in a fatal accident in Kalyani Nagar at around 3 am on Sunday. The accident led to the deaths of two IT engineers.

A senior police officer stated, “Vishal Agarwal has been absconding. Yerwada police and Crime Branch teams have been dispatched to various locations to locate him.”

Agarwal’s son was granted bail by the court on the grounds that he is a minor. However, Vishal Agarwal faces charges under Sections 3, 5, and 199 of the Motor Vehicle Act for allowing his minor son to drive the car. Additionally, a case has been registered against him under Section 75 of the Juvenile Justice Act for permitting his son to party despite being aware that he was consuming alcohol.

Following the filing of the case by Pune Police, Vishal Agarwal has become unreachable, officials said.
