Pune: Child Among 3 Persons Killed As Tree Falls On Their Bike
Purandar, 24th April 2022: A five-year-old girl and a newly married couple died after a tree branch fell on them on Friday night. The unseasonal rainfall, as predicted by the Indian Meteorological Department, is suspected to have led to the falling of the tree branch along Saswad road.
The deceased have been identified as Rasika (30) and Renukesh Jadhav (30). They had got married only a few days ago.
According to police, the couple was going to their village Parinche from Saswad when the incident took place. The child was their niece. A passersby had found them lying and rushed them to hospital, where they were declared dead on arrival.
A case of accidental death is registered in this regard at the Saswad Police Station, Pune rural police.
