Pune City : 279 New Covid Cases , 220 Discharged Today
Pune, December 8, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 220 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 279 new patients were detected while 8 people died today. Today swab samples of 2425 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 172,559 out of which 162,979 have been cured while 4510 have died. There are still 5070 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 412 critical patients out of which 247 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 9,703,770 across the country. Out of this, 91,78,946 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 140,958 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 383,866 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
