Pune City : 321 New Covid Cases , 730 Discharged Today

Pune, October 23, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 730 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 321 new patients were detected while 20 people died today. Today swab samples of 3457 were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 159,077 out of which 147,642 have been cured while 4086 have died. There are still 7349 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 684 critical patients out of which 364 are on ventilator support.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 7,761,312 across the country. Out of this, 69,48,497 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 117,306 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 695,509 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
