Pune City: 643 New COVID Cases, 30 Deaths Reported Today
Pune, October 06, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1270 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 643 new patients were detected while 30 people died today. Today swab samples of 4334 were collected for COVID tests.
According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 150,433 out of which 132,540 have been cured while 3709 have died. There are still 14,181 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 925 critical patients out of which 428 are on ventilator support.
According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 66,85,082 across the country. Out of this, 56,62,490 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 103,569 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 919,023 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
