Pune City Experiences Its First Moderate Rain
Pune, 4th July 2022: After the onset of the monsoon, heavy rains lashed the city and its environs for the first time. Magarpatta City received the maximum rainfall (12.5 mm) till 8.50 pm.
The weather in and around the city has been cloudy since morning. In the afternoon, rain lashed the suburbs and then the Peth areas of the city. Along with the water flowing on the roads, Punekars experienced light to moderate monsoon rains throughout the day. The afternoon was followed by rain in all parts of the city.
Rain in and around the city (until 8.50 pm):
- Shivajinagar: 7.9 mm
- Lohgaon: 2.6 mm
- Chinchwad: 3.5 mm
- Lavale: 9.0 mm
- Magarpatta: 12.5 mm
