Various student organizations like Vidyarthi Dalit Panther, Rashtrawadi Vidyarthi Congress, Yukrand, Bhartiya Vidyarthi Morcha, and other organizations, along with other students, are demanding for exemption in the fees.

Yukrand’s Kamlakar Shete said, “Most students come from rural areas of Maharashtra and lower income groups. Therefore, hike fees for various courses and hostel facilities is not justified when the economy is yet to recover from the COVID pandemic.”
