Pune City: Over 1 Lakh Patients Recovered From COVID Till Now

Pune, September 14, 2020: In the last 24 hours, a total of 1456 people were discharged from hospitals after recovery from Coronavirus disease (COVID19) in Pune city today. Also, 1100 new patients were detected while 39 people died today. Today swab samples of 2807 people were collected for COVID tests.

According to Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC), the total number of Coronavirus positive patients till date has reached 120,757 out of which 100,532 have been cured while 2832 have died. There are still 17,393 active patients undergoing treatment in various hospitals. They include 928 critical patients out of which 479 are on ventilator support.

Across Maharashtra, 15,789 people got discharged from hospitals while 17,066 new cases and 257 deaths were reported today. The total number of COVID cases has reached 10,77,374 out of which 7,55,850 people have recovered and 29,894 have died. There are 2,91,256 active cases.

According to the Union Health Ministry, the number of Coronavirus positive patients has reached 48,46,427 across the country. Out of this, 37,80,107 have been cured and discharged from hospitals while 79,722 people have died and one patient has migrated out of the country. There are still 986,598 active patients undergoing treatment in hospitals across the country.
