Pune: Corona Vaccine Should Be Given To All Above 18 Years To Bring Down Infection Rate – Maharashtra Government To Centre

Pune, 13th March 2021: Considering the Coronavirus spread in Pune, the Maharashtra state government has proposed to the Centre to vaccinate all persons above the age of 18 years. If approved, it is possible to vaccinate one lakh people every day. This will help bring down infection rate under control, said Divisional Commissioner Saurabh Rao.

In this regard, a delegation of members of important social organizations in the city met Dr Vinod Paul, a Member of Niti Aayog and the head of the Corona Control Department.

Speaking about this, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said, “To control the number of corona infected cases, vaccination will be beneficial. It is necessary to keep follow up with the central government regarding the vaccination for all above 18 years. We also requested MPs from Pune district to take up the proposal with the centre.”
