Pune-Danapur Daily Special Train Announced to Manage Passenger Rush
Pune, 10th March 2026: The Central Railway will operate a daily special train between Pune and Danapur to manage the increased passenger demand on the route during March.
According to railway officials, Train No. 01449 Pune–Danapur Special will depart from Pune at 15:30 hrs daily from March 10 to March 31 and will reach Danapur at 02:45 hrs on the third day. In the return direction, Train No. 01450 Danapur–Pune Special will leave Danapur at 05:00 hrs from March 12 to April 2 and will arrive in Pune at 18:15 hrs the next day. The service will run 44 trips in total, with 22 services in each direction.
The train will halt at Daund Chord Cabin, Ahilyanagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Prayagraj Chheoki, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Junction, Buxar and Ara during the journey.
The special train will include one AC 2-tier coach, five AC 3-tier coaches, six sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches and two luggage-cum-guard’s brake vans.
Bookings for the special train have opened at all computerised reservation centres and through the IRCTC Rail Connect website. Tickets for unreserved coaches can be booked through the UTS on Mobile system. Passengers can also check train schedules through the NTES App.
