Pune-Gorakhpur Daily Special Trains Announced; Reservations Now Open

Pune, 10th March 2026 : Central Railway has announced the operation of daily special trains between Pune and Gorakhpur to clear the additional passenger rush during March. A total of 44 special services will run on this route.

Train number 01415 will depart from Pune daily at 06:50 hrs from March 10 to March 31 and will reach Gorakhpur at 16:00 hrs the following day. In the return direction, train number 01416 will leave Gorakhpur at 17:30 hrs from March 11 to April 1 and will arrive in Pune at 03:15 hrs on the third day. Each direction will have 22 services.

The trains will halt at Daund Chord Cabin, Ahilyanagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Rani Kamlapati, Bina, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Gonda and Basti during the journey.

According to railway officials, the special trains will have a composition of one AC 2-tier coach, five AC 3-tier coaches, six sleeper class coaches, four general second-class coaches and two general second-class coaches with guard’s brake van.

Bookings for the special trains on special charges are open at computerised reservation centres and through the IRCTC Rail Connect platform. Unreserved tickets can be booked through the UTS on Mobile system. Passengers can also use the RailOne application for ticket booking and check train timings through the NTES platform or the Indian Railways enquiry portal.
