Pune: Daund-Indore Express Coach Composition Revised from May 2026

Pune, 24th March 2026: Western Railway has announced a revision in the coach composition of Train No. 22944/22943 Indore–Daund–Indore Express, with the changes scheduled to come into effect in May 2026, according to an official railway notification.

As per the notification, the revised coach composition will be implemented with effect from May 21, 2026, for departures from Indore and from May 22, 2026, for departures from Daund. The total number of coaches in the train will remain unchanged at 22 LHB coaches, though the internal composition of certain coach categories has been modified.

Under the revised composition, the number of LWACCN coaches will be increased from six to seven, while the number of LWSCN coaches will be reduced from seven to six. The remaining coach composition, including LS, LSLRD, LWACCW, LWFAC, and LWLRRM coaches, will remain unchanged.

Railway officials stated that the change in coach composition will be updated in the railway system from the effective dates mentioned, and divisions have been instructed to ensure necessary publicity through station announcement systems and display notices at prominent locations such as stations and reservation centers.

The notification has been issued for implementation and necessary action by the concerned railway divisions.
