Pimple Saudagar, 20th September 2023: In anticipation of the upcoming Grand Immersion, former Corporator Shatrughna Kate, visited the Devi Aai Mata and Datta Mandir Visarjan Ghat today to assess the preparations and ensure the safety of citizens during the upcoming immersion ceremonies.

Kate reviewed the measures taken to guarantee the well-being of devotees participating in the grand immersion of Lord Ganapati idols.

During his inspection, Kate focused on the newly constructed Artificial Tank, a significant addition to the ghat facilities designed to facilitate the immersion process and promote environmentally friendly practices. This artificial tank is expected to ease the process of idol immersion, ensuring that it is conducted in an eco-sensitive manner.

An important aspect of the preparations is the collection of donated homemade Ganesha idols. Devotees who have crafted their Ganesha idols with love and devotion can now conveniently deposit them at the Visarjan Ghat through the initiative by Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC).

To enhance the safety of all participants, substantial electric lighting has been strategically placed throughout the ghat. Additionally, a network of CCTV cameras has been installed to closely monitor the area and promptly respond to any unforeseen incidents, ensuring a secure environment for all devotees.

Kate has issued clear instructions to the relevant departments to prioritize safety during the entire immersion process.

As the city eagerly anticipates the joyous celebrations of Ganesh Chaturthi, the Devi Aai Mata and Datta Mandir Visarjan Ghat are fully prepared to facilitate the spiritual immersion of Lord Ganapati idols.
