Pune District on Alert: IMD Forecasts Moderate Rainfall in the Next Few Hours
Pune, 25th June 2023: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a nowcast warning at 4 pm on 25-06-2023, alerting residents of several districts in Maharashtra about imminent rainfall.
Moderate spells of rain are highly likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Thane, Palghar, Pune, Ahmednagar, Solapur, Satara, Beed, and Aurangabad over the next 3-4 hours.
In addition, there is a possibility of thunder and lightning, accompanied by gusty winds, in certain areas. The IMD advises individuals to take necessary precautions while moving outdoors during this period.
The IMD will closely monitor the weather situation and provide updates as needed to ensure public safety.
