Pune, 22nd January 2022: MahaAnusha is a portal for effective and efficient management of demand for corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds and proper implementation of projects. It has been developed by United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and has been provided free of any cost to Pune District Rural Development Authority.

It has previously been used in Karnataka at the state level and it is going to be used now in Pune District. Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar inaugurated this project today.

In the first phase, Government Departments can upload proposed projects and managers of CSR in various companies could select and pledge their support. Project management can happen through the portal. We would be uploading projects to improve our schools, aanganwadis and health care centres. we are in talks with all industrial associations to encourage companies to login to the portal.

MahaAnusha will bring greater transparency and accountability in CSR related activities in the district. We hope to raise more CSR than the Rs 50 crores raised last year for developmental activities. It will also prevent the harassment of companies from unscrupulous persons in the name of demanding CSR funds.
