Rahul Bose’s HEAL Foundation To Train 74,500 Persons In Pune District To Identify Signs Of Sexual Abuse

Pune, 22nd January 2022: With the support of HEAL Foundation of actor Rahul Bose, Gram Sevak Training Institute at Manjri Farm and Woman & Child Welfare Department of Pune Zilla Parishad (ZP) would train 74,500 persons in the district to identify signs of child sex abuse and take proactive steps to prevent it.

Pune ZP CEO Ayush Prasad said, “This program would create a safe environment for our children in schools, at homes and at all public spaces. We have zero-tolerance for domestic violence and child sex abuse.”

He added, “Pune Zilla Parishad is committed to preventing child sex abuse and render all possible support to its victims. We have proposed a school at Khanawardi for effective support of victim girl child through best education, holistic development, safe environment, counselling and all other forms of support. We have requested Deputy Chief Minister sir for early approval from the Maharashtra State Government.”
