Pune: Donation Box Stolen From Temple, Two Booked
Pune 7th July 2023: The Pune City Police have booked two unidentified men for stealing the donation box of a temple located in the Satavnagar area of Hadapsar. According to police, the incident took place on Wednesday morning when two unidentified men fled with the donation box and cash kept in the Bhavani Mata Temple located on Handewadi road.
According to complaint, cash worth approximately Rs 7,000 has been stolen from the donation box. The accused came on a bike that did not have a number plate.
A case in this regard has been registered at Wanawadi police station against the two unidentified men under sections 380 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Police are investigating further in the matter.
