Pune: DoRBit Foundation Celebrates Independence Day By Gifting Books To Underprivileged Students In Mulshi Taluka Village

Pune, 19th August 2021: DoRBit Foundation team launched their “Your Book” initiative for Zilla Parishad (ZP) school, Mohalnagar, Ambedwet village of Mulshi Taluka on 15th Aug 2021.
For the same village that discusses “Why This Disparity”, they plan to impart the importance of education and want to bridge the gap for their next generation. The main focus for this area will be quality education, awareness sessions for their parents, required infrastructure for the school, library setup, clean drinking water provision, nutritious food and clothes. With access to the right resources, people can become empowered by their abilities and gain the confidence to fulfil their potential.
NGO founder Vipin Mohit Shrivastava and NGO director Indrajit Roy dedicated the library to students. Vipin shared gratitude for Vinayak Shinde for his coordination and support throughout the initiative.
The DoRBit team was present at the event, where core committee member Ashish Kumar Rai thanked school officials and volunteers for their assistance. Abhishekh Kumar Singh distributed colouring kits and gifts to students.
Gram panchayat Sarpanch Rohini Shinde Sarpanch, Deputy sarpanch Santosh Ovhal, members Pritam Dhamale, Ankush Jadhav, Pradnya Jadhav, Sarita Amrale, Shailesh Pawar, as well as school teachers Mangal Marne and Priti Tilekar graced the program with their presence.
Vipin expressed gratitude to all donors and the DoRBit team for their efforts and contributions. “We intend to open libraries in other schools to succour underprivileged students. With this initiative, our objective is to promote countless opportunities for those in need. At the moment, many children do not have access to schools or basic education.
Our goal is to collaborate with communities to significantly increase the number of students who have access to comprehensive as well as basic educational experiences. The student and their parents must understand the value of education”, he said.
Rahul Tilak, DoRBit’s designer and online campaign lead, acknowledged all the volunteers who assisted in reaching this goal. In addition, he asked everyone to come forward and spread the word.
Abhilash Shashtri, the initiative’s coordinator, thanked the DoRBit team’s Bhavna Kandpal, Aslam Dhanani, Saimah Khan, Samik Anwar, Abhishek Singh, and Anant Sinha for their contributions and support.
