Pune: DoRBit Foundation Inaugurates Library, Spreads Joy of Reading Among Underprivileged Students in ZP school

Pune, 26th August 2023: In a heartwarming endeavor to empower underprivileged students through education, the DoRBit Foundation proudly inaugurated a new library in ZP school of Bhavani Nagar Village, Mulshi Taluka, Pune on 26 Aug 2023.

The event marked a significant milestone in the foundation’s “Your Book” initiative, which aims to establish libraries for deserving students across India. The library inauguration brought smiles to the faces of children as they were introduced to a world of knowledge, promising new horizons and opportunities.

The DoRBit Foundation, with a strong foothold in the education sector, has undertaken the noble mission of providing quality education and essential infrastructure to students who lack access to basic resources. The “Your Book” project has achieved remarkable success, with the recent inauguration in Bhavani Nagar Village being the tenth library established by the foundation. These libraries have already reached schools and villages in Pune, Kolhapur, and Nagpur, transforming the lives of numerous young learners.

The inauguration ceremony was graced by the presence of DoRBit Foundation’s Director, Indrajit Roy, and Initiative Lead, Abhishek Singh, along with their spouses Puspa Roy and Anjali Kumari. Village leaders, as well as the school’s headmaster, Ramesh Marne, joined hands for the ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was a true representation of collaboration between the foundation, village leaders, and the local school.

The joyous occasion saw the distribution of books to the children, each smile illuminating the room as they embraced the world of literature. School staff felicitated the guests, especially recognizing Abhishek Singh for his invaluable contribution to the school’s betterment through the library initiative.

During the event, Vipin Mohit Shrivastava, the Founder of DoRBit Foundation, shared the organization’s plans to extend their reach to more schools in rural areas. He highlighted the successful establishment of ten libraries and discussed the foundation’s comprehensive initiatives aimed at the holistic development of students.

Viraj Medhe, a core team member of the foundation, interacted with the students, inspiring them to cultivate the habit of reading. He emphasized how books could shape their character, enabling them to become successful individuals in life.

The DoRBit team expressed their gratitude towards the school’s headmaster, Ramesh Marne, and teacher, Manorama Gund, for their exceptional cooperation throughout the library setup process. The foundation pledged its commitment to continuing its support for the school in the future.

In a heartwarming display of commitment to community service, the DoRBit Foundation welcomed new volunteers into its fold during the library inauguration event. Shubham Bhave, Sonali Bhave, and Rahul Pathak were not only embraced with the foundation’s badge but also with the shared enthusiasm and determination to make a positive impact.
