Pune: Drugs Worth Rs 11 Lakh Seized In Two Cases, Three Arrested
Pune 13th July 2023: The Anti Narcotics Cell of Pune City Police has arrested three people in two different cases and have seized Ganja and Opium worth Rs 11.22 lakh from their possession. The police teams following inputs raided two locations in Hadapsar and Market Yard areas.
The police officials had received an input about a woman and man selling ganja in Hadapsar. Accordingly, the police team laid a trap and the accused were arrested. A case in this regard has been registered at Hadapsar police station. Police have seized around 26 Kg of ganja worth Rs 5.23 lakh from their possession.
In another case reported in Market Yard, police have arrested a person and have seized Opium worth Rs 5.85 lakh from his possession. A case in this regard has been registered at Market Yard Police Station under relevant section. Police are investigating further in the matter.
