Football: Pune eves go down in final
Pune, 18 May 2022: Pune had to settle for second spot after going down 0-4 to Kolhapur in the final of the Under-17 District Girls Championship at Minatai Thakre Stadium, Nashik.
In a one-sided final, Pune found themselves 0-2 in arrears at the halfway stage and conceded two more in the second. Having remained unbeaten in the tournament, Pune were tamed by Kolhapur who upset the calculations of Mumbai as well.
