Football: FC Maharashtra rally to win; Krida Prabodhini, Mathew F.A score identical 6-goal ins

Pune, 18 May 2022: Noisy Boys and F.C Maharashtra had an easy day out in the Second Division, while Krida Prabodhini, and Matthew F.A scored identical 6-0 wins in the Under-16 Youth League in the in the Poona District Football Association (PDFA) League 2021-22, here on Wednesday.

At the SP College ground, Ayuj Bute began the day helping himself to six goals as Noisy Boys humiliated Junnar Taluka 9-0 in a Pool-E encounter. Ayuj began his star act in the 15^th minute and went on to add goals in the 22nd, 25th, 29th, 45th, 47^th minutes respectively. A brace by Yogesh Lodh (34th, 36^th) and a goal by Dinesh Rathod (41st) completed the rout.

In contrast, Pool-H saw F.C Maharashtra come from behind to down Real Pune United ‘B’ 3-1. Avinash Pandav (12th) gave F.c Maharashtra the lead, but soon found Jeffrey Perreira (23^rd), Shrey Kishore (25^th) and Abhijeet Shinde (43^rd)  score for FC Maharashtra  and reverse the scoreline in their favour.

At SSPMS ground, in the Under-16 Youth League, Pool-B had Krida Prabodhini down Barca Academy 6-0 with Sai Patil (24th, 53^rd), Aarav Baradwaj (26^th), Joy Shelke (30^th), Mohit Phadke (36th) score. Later

In Pool-C, Mathew F.A downed Ryan F.A 6-0. Jatin Naidu (15^th), Umer Khan (27th, 29th) and a three-goal burst by Yash Dethe (30+1st, 33rd, 42nd) gave Mathew F.C full points from their encounter.
