Pune Family Court Warns Woman Of Rs 5000 Fine Each Time Her Husband Not Allowed To Their Son

Pune, 1st April 2022: A couple separated due to a family dispute, has applied for divorce in the Pune family court. However, in a recent hearing, the court lashed out at the wife for not allowing her husband to meet their son.

The court also warned her that she needs to pay Rs 5000 as a fine for each missing visit if she does not allow the husband to meet their son. Also, the custody of the child will be given to the father if the court’s order will not be followed. This order was given by judge Niranjan Naikwade.

Soham and Rekha (names are changed) got married in 2007. Soham is working as an engineer in a private company. Rekha also completed her engineering studies and now is a housewife. After a few years of marriage, there was a constant argument between them. Because of this, Soham was living separately. They applied for divorce in 2021 with the help of adv Tausif Shaikh, adv Swapnil Girme and Adv Dipak Gaikwad.

They also applied for custody of the child. While the case is still pending in court, it was observed that the wife deliberately did not allow the husband to meet his son. Considering this, the court permitted the father to meet the son.

The court also ordered that the wife needs to pay Rs 5000 as a fine for each missing visit and if the court’s order is not followed in the next six months, the court will give the custody of the son to the husband.
