Pune: Fatal Collision: Unknown Vehicle Claims Life of 74-Year-Old in Kadachiwadi
Chakan, 21st November 2023: In a tragic incident on Monday, a 74-year-old senior citizen lost his life in a collision with an unknown vehicle at Kadachiwadi in Khed taluka.
The incident unfolded when Bapu Baburao Sandbhor, a resident of Kiwale, was riding his two-wheeler en route to Kiwale. Regrettably, an unknown vehicle collided with him, resulting in fatal injuries. The unidentified driver of the vehicle fled the scene without reporting the accident or providing necessary medical assistance.
Dilip Prabhakar Bharat, a resident of Chakan, filed a complaint at the Chakan police station on behalf of the deceased. A case has been officially registered against the unknown driver responsible for the collision. The victim, Bapu Baburao Sandbhor, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The police are actively investigating the incident, seeking any available leads or information that could help identify and apprehend the driver involved in the hit-and-run.
