Pune: Film Director Booked For Sexually Abusing Girl By Offering Her Role In Film
Pune, 30th March 2022: A film director has been booked by Pune city police for allegedly sexually abusing a 21-year-old girl for the last five years by promising to offer her a role in a film.
Based on the complaint from the girl, an FIR has been registered against Amit Premchand Sitlani by the Vishrantwadi police station.
According to the information given by police, the 21-year-old victim and the accused Amit Premchand Sitlani got to know each other in 2018 for work. “I will get you a job in the film industry. Let’s work together,” the accused told the girl.
From then till the day, the accused took the girl to various places and sexually abused her. During this time, when she asked about the job, the accused would reply to her that she will get a job soon.
After realizing that Sitalani cheated her, the young woman asked him about the work. “I have a lot of videos of you. I will make it viral” he threatened and even beat her.
She lodged a complaint with police following which the case was registered.
