Pune: Former Land Records Deputy Director Balasaheb Wankhede, His Wife Booked In Disproportionate Assets Case

Pune, 14th May 2021: The anti-corruption bureau (ACB), Pune unit, has booked former land records department deputy director Balasaheb Wankhede (58) and his wife Ushakiran (54) in a disproportionate assets (DA) case.

According to ACB, between 1990 and 2019, Wankhede’s wife had got property worth Rs 88.85 lakh. His family and relatives have properties in Pune, Mumbai, Akola and Amravati. Currently, searches are going on at their residences. ACP Vijaymala Pawar is further investigating the case.

In 2019, ACB had arrested Wankhede in connection with a Rs 1.7 crore bribery case.
