Pune: Funds Sanctioned For Security Of Rajiv Gandhi Zoo In Katraj

Pune, 9th November 2021: The Standing Committee of Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has approved a tender of Rs 1.53 crore for the construction of a boundary wall and various security measures for the Rajiv Gandhi Zoo at Katraj, said Chairman Hemant Rasane.
He further said the decision was taken to provide more security to the zoo. The actual work will cost 93 lakh 28 thousand rupees. 11 lakh 19 thousand GST and Rs 85 thousand for testing will be charged.
To build a trench at Rajiv Gandhi Zoo, Rasane informed that the tender of Rs 1 crore 96 lakh has been approved by the Standing Committee. The trench will be constructed as per the norms of the Central Zoo Authority.
