Pune: Girl Jumps To Death At Amanora Township As Parents Return From Parents-Teacher Meeting
Hadapsar, 9th July 2022: A 17-year-old girl died by suicide from 14th floor of a building in Amanora Township on Friday. The reason behind her extreme step is not known yet.
The deceased has been identified as Avantika Kulsekhar. She was studying at a school in the Manjari area.
According to police, her parents had gone to school for a parent-teacher meeting when the incident took place. Her younger brother had also gone to school. She was home alone at the time.
“As soon as her parents were taking the elevator, she locked the door from the inside and then jumped down from the fourteenth floor”, said an officer from Hadapsar police station, Pune city police.
