Pune: Girlfriend Kills Her Lover For Refusing Marriage In Chinchwad
Pimpri, 16th August 2021: The incident of strangulation of a lover who refused to marry his girlfriend has come to light. Pimpri police have handcuffed the accused girlfriend in the case.
The incident took place at White House Lodge near Chinchwad station. The deceased man has been identified as Paigambar Gulab Mujawar (35) of Bhosari. Police said that he was already married. A 29-year-old woman from Chikhali has been arrested in connection with the case. The deceased’s wife has lodged a complaint with the Pimpri police station against her.
According to police, Mujawar and the 29-year-old woman were working in the same place. Their friendship further turned into love about a year ago. The young woman was keen to marry Mujawar. However, Mujawar refused to marry her. This often led to an argument between the two.
Meanwhile, the girlfriend invited Mujawar to meet in room 307 at White House Lodge in Chinchwad. The two met around 6 pm on Friday (August 13). They had an argument when Mujawar refused to marry her. The woman allegedly strangled him to death in a rage. The young woman then informed the lodge employees around 10 pm that Mujawar was unconscious in the room.
He was rushed to the YCM hospital in Pimpri but had died by then. Pimpri police have arrested the girlfriend and further investigation is going on.
