Pune: Gravity Group adopts disabled BodyBuilders

Pune, 19th June 2025: On the initiative of Pune-based entrepreneur Dr. Meehir Kulkarni, disabled athletes in bodybuilding sports, Jitendra Nayad (Pune), Om Shinde (Pune), Sameer Koli (Mumbai), Sunil Mallah (Dahanu), Suryakant Durgavale (Mumbai), Mayur Deore (Nashik), were adopted in the presence of Pune Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar. The program was held at Gravity Fitness Club in Bibvewadi. These disabled players will be given lifetime membership of the club by Gravity Group and will be provided with financial assistance along with their nutrition.

Gravity Group President Dr. Meehir Kulkarni said in his speech that these disabled Bodybuilders were adopted with the aim of encouraging these players and fulfilling their sports needs, providing sports equipment, and facilitating training, which will further develop their talent and enable them to achieve greater success for the country. Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar appreciated the initiative of adopting disabled players and said that such an initiative will provide equal opportunities to disabled players in the society and improve their quality of life. He expressed the feeling that adoption will help improve their social, emotional and physical health.
