Pune: Guardian Minister Assures MLA Funds To Help Societies In Kothrud
Pune, 23rd April 2023: MLA Chandrakant Patil has promised to assist societies in Kothrud with MLA funds for solar panels, CCTV cameras, and solid waste processing activities. He has also urged everyone to plan their water usage properly during the summer season.
Guardian Minister Patil held a meeting with office bearers of various societies in Erandwane area of Kothrud constituency and was briefed about the problems faced by the societies. The meeting was attended by Additional Commissioner Kunal Khemnar, State BJP Spokesperson Sandeep Khardekar, Kothrud Mandal President Punit Joshi, former corporator Manjushree Khardekar, along with corporators Deepak Pote, Jayant Bhave, and other dignitaries.
The society office bearers shared their concerns about various issues under the jurisdiction of the Pune Municipal Corporation, including water supply, traffic control, garbage collection, and road repairs. Instructions were given to the authorities to resolve these problems immediately.
Patil assured the office bearers that he will assist them with funds for self-sufficient solar panels, CCTV cameras, and initiatives for solid waste management. He also promised to install sanitary pad napkins and vending machines for housewives in every society. Additionally, he urged all societies to plan their water usage during the summer season.
