Pune: Hadapsar-Danapur Weekly Special Trains for Diwali-Chhath Announced; Reservations Open September 15
Pune, 13th September 2025: Central Railways will operate 20 special train services between Hadapsar (Pune) and Danapur to accommodate increased passenger demand during the Diwali and Chhath Puja festival season.
The special weekly services will run from September 29 to December 1, 2025, with train bookings opening on September 15, 2025 at all computerized reservation centers and on the IRCTC website.
Service Schedule
Train 03214 (Hadapsar to Danapur) will depart from Hadapsar at 06:45 hours every Monday from September 29, 2025 to December 1, 2025, arriving at Danapur at 19:45 hours the following day.
The return service, Train 03213 (Danapur to Hadapsar), will leave Danapur at 21:00 hours every Saturday from September 27, 2025 to November 29, 2025, reaching Hadapsar at 04:15 hours on the third day.
Route and Halts
The special trains will halt at 18 stations including Daund Chord Line, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Madan Mahal, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Junction, Buxar and Ara.
Coach Composition
Each special train will consist of 22 coaches: eight AC 3-Tier Economy coaches, eight Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches, one General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Van, and one Generator Car.
Booking Information
Reservations for Train 03214 will commence on September 15, 2025 through all computerized reservation centers and the IRCTC website (www.irctc.co.in). Bookings for unreserved coaches can be made through the UTS system with standard charges applicable for superfast Mail/Express trains.
