FIR Filed Against Al Khalifa Tours Directors for Alleged Cheating

Kondhwa, 18th May 2026: An FIR has been registered at Kondhwa Police Station against the directors of Al Khalifa Tours and Travels for allegedly cheating and defrauding several Haj and Umrah pilgrims by collecting lakhs of rupees under the pretext of providing Haj and Umrah services.

The FIR has been registered under Sections 316, 318 and 61 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), along with Sections 3 and 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (MPID) Act.

The accused named in the FIR are Amir Sardar Shaikh, Misba Amir Shaikh, Sabir Riyaz Shaikh and others.

The case was registered by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) under the directions of Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Vivek Masal after a delegation representing the victims met him under the leadership of Advocate Tosif Shaikh.

According to the complainants, several people were allegedly cheated after paying substantial amounts for Haj and Umrah arrangements that were either not provided or were falsely represented.

Advocate Tosif Shaikh has appealed to all victims who may have suffered losses due to the alleged fraud to come forward without fear and register their complaints and statements with the police so that strict legal action can be taken against the accused.

Further investigation in the case is underway.
