Pune: Heavy Rain and Wind Cause Collapse of Society Wall on Shankar Sheth Road
Camp, 9th April 2023: A wall collapse in Anand Park Society on Shankar Sheth Road poses danger to residents, especially children and senior citizens, due to the adjacent construction work of Majestic Landmarks Builder.
The builder erected iron pillars without proper foundation along the wall, which fell violently due to the sudden onset of heavy rain with gusts of wind. As a result, the 100-feet protection wall of the society collapsed, posing a threat to the open space and park built on a one-acre area.
The residents blame the builder’s wrongful work for the damage caused and demand swift action to ensure their safety.
