Pune – Illegal Activities Will Be Completely Stopped In Lonavla Division: IPS Satya Sai Karthik
Lonavla, 4th November 2022: Newly appointed Deputy Superintendent of Police Satya Sai Karthik, an IPS officer, clarified in a press conference that illegal activities will not be allowed anywhere in the Lonavala division.
For this he shared his own mobile number 7993148779 and appealed to contact directly if any illegal business or illegal activity is happening anywhere in the area.
Karthik took information from the journalists about the problems of Lonavla city, Lonavla rural, Kamshet areas of Lonavla division and also explained the common citizens’ expectations from the police system.
Karthik said, “I intend to implement a healthy society and policing by stopping illegal businesses and taking every section of the society along.”
He also expressed the intention to solve the traffic jam in Lonavla city as well as Kamshet market, Karla-Malvali area. He said that efforts will be made to prevent accidents of tourists and citizens on national highways and tourist spots.
Karthik informed that all the police stations in the division are understaffed. “I am trying to get it increased and I have also requested the Superintendent of Police of Pune Rural.”
Meanwhile, he will work with the citizens of the city, gram panchayats, municipal councils, police friends, and NSS students to solve the crime and other problems. “I am not one of those who will continue as it is, there will definitely be a change but the citizens should also support it,” he added further.
Citizens should act as our CCTV cameras, strict action will be taken against illegal businesses in Lion’s Point area and Bhushi Dam, drug use and also action will be taken against late-night music systems and illegal activities in private bungalows, the young officer clarified.
